Katrina M. Kayden
Katrina earned her law degree from Villanova University. During her time at Villanova, she gained legal experience as a paid intern for Joel F. Bigatel, Esquire in Narberth, Pennsylvania. She also worked as a student attorney for the Villanova Civil Justice Clinic, representing low-income clients in civil and family law matters.
Following graduation, Katrina served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Carol Hanna in the Indiana Court of Common Pleas from 2006 to 2008. She then joined The Law Office of Michael N. Vaporis, where she was an associate attorney for ten years. In 2019, she and Attorney Vaporis formed the partnership of Kayden & Vaporis, LLC.
Katrina primarily focuses her practice in the areas of adoption, family law, social security disability, bankruptcy, and appellate work. Over the years, she has litigated cases in several specialized areas of the law, including surrogacy contracts, foreign adoptions, and grandparent custody rights. She has also argued cases in front of the Pennsylvania Superior Court.
In her spare time, Katrina enjoys gardening, quilting, and community theatre. She also volunteers with the VNA Family Hospice Memory Bears program. Katrina resides in Indiana with her life partner, Dave, and their cats, Archimedes and Eureka.
